....The Myth behind the Name
According to Greek Mythology, Elysium was an ancient Greek
paradise exclusively designated to heroes whom the gods
had granted immortality. According to Homer, it was described
as a land of perfect happiness. In Elysium, the “chosen
few” were allowed to retain their memories of their past
lives. The environment was peaceful and joyous, the inhabitants
were able to enjoy the pleasures they experienced when alive,
such as hunting, sports, music and feasts. The “selected
few” were able to reside in Elysium for eternity. Some say
that Elysium was even located on earth. Several names were
given to Elysium by Virgil in The Aeneid, such as “Land
of joy”, “The fortunate wood”, and the “Home of the Blessed”.
ACCOMMODATION
Description of each type of Guestroom:
Standard Deluxe:
A room of upgraded aesthetics and design of 28 – 30 m2,
available with twin or Queen size bed, tile or carpet flooring
and spacious balcony (at least 8 m2) with sea view (230
rooms) or garden view (9 rooms). Facilities include: LCD
TV with satellite channels, Pay TV, Direct dial telephone
with voice-mail, internet access, individual A/C controls,
electronic safe deposit box, mini fridge, smoke detector
& sprinkler, spacious bathroom with hairdryer, magnifying
mirror, telephone and variety of deluxe bath amenities.
A number of standard rooms are available with interconnecting
door.
Superior Deluxe:
A spacious room of upgraded aesthetics and design of ± 36
m2, available with twin or Queen size bed, tile or carpet
flooring and spacious balcony with sea view. Facilities
include, in addition to those in the standard deluxe room:
Living area, coffee – tea maker, hydro massage bathtub in
the bathroom, in some rooms of smaller size (30 m² ) there
are small glass panels in the bathroom that through an innovated
light mechanism enable visibility to the room and the sea,
as well as afternoon turn down service.
Junior Suite:
A spacious one-space suite of upgraded aesthetics and design
of 45 m2, available with twin or Queen size bed, spacious
balcony with sea view and with option for a 3rd bed. Facilities
include, in addition to those in the Superior deluxe room:
Wooden flooring and living area. Please note that all Junior
Suites are available at the Elite Club floors and therefore
additional facilities and services apply as per the Elite
Club description.
One Bedroom Suite:
A luxurious suite of 64 m2 with separate living room with
dining table, bedroom with its own bathroom with two sinks,
hydro massage bathtub and shower, available with Queen size
bed and spacious balcony with sea view. Facilities include,
in addition to those in the Junior Suite: Walk-in wardrobe
in the bedroom, WC by the living room, 2nd LCD TV. Although
one bedroom suites are not located within the Elite Club
floors, guests may use all additional services provided
to club guests.
Presidential Suite:
An ultra luxurious suite of 115 m2 with living room including
a six-seats dining table, two bedrooms, one with Queen size
bed and its own full size bathroom with two sinks, hydro
massage bathtub and shower, and one with twin beds, as well
as over spaced balconies (43 m2) with sea view. Facilities
include, in addition to those in the One Bedroom Suite:

The Elite Club guestrooms:
In addition to the above facilities all types of guestrooms
that are located on the Elite Club floors are with upgraded
room design, furniture and fabrics, wooden floor, CD/DVD
player, voicemail, free Internet access, bottle of mineral
water on a daily basis all stay through, tray of local sweets
on a daily basis all stay through, coffee & tea maker,
hydro massage bathtub, branded personal care amenities,
bathrobes & sleepers, as well as afternoon turn down

Dining & Bars
Breakfast:
Full American breakfast buffet, with Greek traditional corner
served at the main restaurant and its terrace
Elite Club guests will have at their disposal their own
exclusive restaurant for breakfast, at the Roof-top panoramic
restaurant, serving enriched American buffet with Greek
traditional corner.
Lunch:
Pool Restaurant with adequate terrace at the ground level,
serving a la carte Mediterranean delicacies in an authentic
atmosphere.
Lunch buffet, with BBQ and grill dishes served at the veranda
of the main restaurant in operation only in high season
Dinner:
For half board guests, dinner will be served at the main
restaurant and its terrace.
A la carte gourmet restaurant (586 m2 indoor space) at the
top floor with terrace offering panoramic sea view, serving
specialties from all over the world including a menu degustation.
Dress Code applies for dinner: Gentlemen are kindly requested
to wear long trousers for dinner in the restaurants
